As a 30 year advertising veteran, Michael has held a wide range of responsibilities including Production Artist, Layout Artist, Broadcast Producer, Art Director and Creative Director. Michael joined Heathcott in 1994 as Creative Director and is responsible for overseeing the creative content of all print and broadcast efforts by the agency.

During his career, he has worked with some of Arkansas' top advertising firms, as well as operated his own successful advertising design studio for eight years, Puckett Design Group. Michael has performed work for an impressive list of clients, including Dillard's Department Stores, City of Hot Springs, the Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas, KFC, Chevrolet, Bonanza Steak Houses, Louisiana Downs, Weedeater, Winnebago, 20th Century Fox, Systematics, Alltel, Entergy, Today's Kids, Worthen Bank, Twin City Bank, Jimmy Dean Sausage, Abaga Ice, Nuvel, Gott-Rubermaid, Seasons Inc., the Great Southern Sauce Company, Southland Greyhound Park, Jacuzzi, Levi Strauss, Wilson Meats, the Arkansas Poultry Federation, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Yarnell's Ice Cream, and Jason's Spa's.

Michael also enjoys a long list of local, regional and national awards to his credit, including the Outstanding Service to Minorities Award for his production of the Miss Black America of Arkansas Preview, "A Touch of Soul," a national addy for a full page four-color ad for Louisiana Downs Race Track, the "Best of Show" award from the Arkansas Advertising Federation in 1990, and the 1996 EAT Award for "Best Local Restaurant :30 TV."
